In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
So, this has been the busiest summer on record. Jerome has a brother that is very ill, but halfway around the world. We thank God for cell phones and e-mail. Our adoption process is flying and we will be visiting our new children again this week. Then we have visitation plans for two more weeks with a plan for final placement on August 23rd. Our kids did well in 4H and two made the state fair. We have hosted visitors, celebrated birthdays, gone to fun shoots, visited the local fair, and even made a camping trip out of our visit to our new kids. In the meantime -- two more kids are arriving. We need extra seats for our car, rooms and beds re-arranged and school planning has yet to be finished. Riane is entering her senior year of school and has begun looking into schedules for special trainings and passport applications.
I often wonder why God made the Bible Bee, 4H, adoption and family illness to all coincide, but I know this.. He has a plan and it is to glorify Him and produce righteousness in my life.
And.. the blog suffers, but rest assured it is not forgotten. Updates will come.
